The mark of a significant event;
The beginning of an awesome journey;
The opening of the amazing Zone F-uture!
After spending my entire day with Zone F, I'm more than determined to go for my heart's desire. The younger generation is such a bundle of joy.(:
Zone F is going to burst forth and do the wonderful work. They are going to be the ones to carry the cross and run the race of F-aith. Their F-uture is going to be F-antastic!
I see little Dominics and little Lynettes amongst all of them! I was so impressed when they started to share what they see themselves as in the F-uture. Head usher, CGLs, ZLs, soundman, video etc. You name it, they thought of it.
I've never underestimate the power of the younger generation. They may be young, but the things that they are capable of; the things that go through their minds - they are really BIG!
Hanging out with them helps to recharge my faith tank to its optimum level! x)
Dinner with them was quite an experience by itself. They are really really adorable. I was totally bemused by them.

Just want to let all of you know that I really appreciate everything that you all did.
A million thanks to my wonderful wonderful elder sister - Xinyi, Jiaxin and Jackson for accompanying me all the way until 3plus in the morning - especially when all of you have work/school early the next day.
Also, to Jian Ming who kept cracking jokes to make me laugh even though the laughter triggered my cough.
There's so many people which I have yet to name and it will take me ages to continue listing them. Thus, to everyone who was there on Wednesday night, A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU! (:

Mummy's off day today! Decided that I should spend some time with her so I asked for permission to work at home. Am glad that I've completed most of the things I've set out to do! (: (: (:
Anyway, being on hospitality is really fun! It makes my day when I know that these little acts of service can brighten up other people's lives. When they are satisfied and happy, a sense of accomplishment and elation just fills me up from within - that keeps me motivated and spurs me on to serve even more; no matter how tedious it gets. (:
Also, the vision which I have for Cafe keeps me going on! One day, we will be like Starbucks/Dome/Coffee Bean etc. - maybe even better! I have this BIG dream for Cafe. The standards are going to go up to another whole new exciting level! Things will get even better when we start to have our own building!
I'm already experiencing an adrenaline rush as I type this entry! Our future is going to be amazing! All I need to do now is 'to growGrowGROW and soon I wil be able to GLOW' (to quote my ff).
Definitely, I will glow and shine in His glory. Together, we will fight this fight of faith; together, we will accelerate and hit our target; a thousand impacted and changed lives it shall be. (:

My cough is getting worse. Boo. I seriously do not know what's going on. I have been such a good patient! I have already finished my course of medication but instead of getting better, the cough became worse. RAH!
The doctor told me to go back to her if there were to be no improvement. Boo. As much as I like my doctor, I really don't want to meet up with her so frequently - firstly, it will burn a big hole in my pocket; secondly, I will have to go through the whole routine of taking my medicine regularly (erps!); thirdly.. oh well, I can come up with a thousand and one reasons. Rah.
That aside, I'm currently in love with Stream of Praise's 'I Pray'! Really really anointed! (:

While waiting for the bus to arrive after giving tuition just half an hour ago, I experienced one of the sweetest moments of my life.
There was this bus (I cannot really remember the bus number) which stopped at this particular bus-stop. In the bus, by the window seat, was this really sweet little girl (probably 4-6 years old) who was looking out of the window. Our eyes met and I smiled to her. She returned me with the sweetest smile ever and that really melted my heart. The wonders of a simple, sweet smile from a little girl.
As I walked back to my apartment, I couldn't help but re-enact that scene in my mind and something dawned upon me. God created all these thousands and thousands of years ago, didn't He? He is the creator of our lives. He created all these simple yet beautiful moments in our lives.
A simple smile.
A simple hello.
A simple wave.
A simple hug.
A simple message.
A simple encouragement.
A simple act of love.
A simple act of hope.
A simple act of faith.
All these simple things do not just work simply, do they? They create an impact in someone's life; yours, mine, ours. It's just the extent of that impact. Be it a big one or a small one, the impact is there.
I can't help but marvel at all these simple yet wonderful things God has planned for us. Nonetheless, above all these wonders in life, there is the most wonderful creator;
the King of all kings;
the Lord of all lords;
my big loving Daddy;
my God.
Oh, how I love my heavenly Father. For Him, I am willing to give up all my crowns. I will lift my everything to Him because I know I am safe in His arms. (:

iSunday was AWESOME! Those who were there experienced for themselves this powerful miracle - the miracle of my elder sister.
As some of you know, my sister was hospitalised on Tuesday (27 March) due to the numbness on her left limbs. X-ray showed that her spine was shifted to one side and it pressed against the nerves, which resulted in the numbness. However that was just a deduction from the doctors. They performed lumbar puncture, took her for MRI scans, tried out different tests on her and yet they could not come out with a definite answer regarding her illness.
A panel of 30 doctors, inclusive of the Head of NNI in Tan Tock Seng and many other specialists, could not tell what exactly was wrong with my sister. In the end, they discharged her and gave her paracetamol, which we rejected and refused to take.
This morning, or rather yesterday morning since it's already 0140 now, my sister insisted on going for service despite having a really splitting headache. The child-like faith she has within her really inspired and touched me. As written in the Bible, God's power is dependent on one's faith. My sister is really faith-filled and she has this really incredible level of faith in her that it moved God.
As the whole church prayed for her just now, her toes came alive and she could wriggle them! They were not numb anymore! Her headache left her and she had the strength to walk on her own. Incredible! Amazing! She's now the walking miracle of hoGc. Wonderful! (:
I'm really really proud of her and I really thank God for always being there. Like what Pastor Lia mentioned a few weeks back, when we are down to nothing, God is up to something. Once again, I've experienced the awesome power of God. Such an experience is really priceless and it will never be enough to just read about it. You got to experience it for yourself!
Come experience it for yourself this week with Sy Rogers. I assure you, everything will be amazing; for God is real! (:

I saw a vision; a vision of a tall man holding on to the hands of a little girl. That little girl is me and that man is none other than my BIG Daddy!(:
He spoke to me. He told me, "I know that everytime when you rise up, you are uncertain of yourself. But today, I'm telling you - I have faith in you. So why don't you have faith in Me? If I can put you to this, I will definitely pull you through it. Trust in Me."
I was touched by it and I cried. Tears of joy and not of sorrow. (:

I finally finish submitting all the university applications. Took me the entire afternoon to settle everything. I nearly died doing it! HAHAHA! Then again, I think I'm too easily amused. Haha!

When I went to visit Vanessa at KK Women and Children Hospital in the afternoon, I saw this really adorable baby in the ward.
According to the lady with him, his name is Shen Long and he is only 8 months old. He was admitted to hospital because he has some bruises on his head.
He has so many toys with him! More than that he has this helium-filled Winnie the Pooh balloon! Ahh.. I like! (:
The lady took really good care of him. Ensuring that he's well-fed and well taken care of. The little baby looked so happy to be in her arms!
Given a scenario like this, anyone would think that the little baby boy is living in nice and loving family. Yet, the lady with him is not his mummy, but a social worker.
I was so shocked when I heard that. The social worker told me that his mum is currently in jail because she abused him after taking drugs. The poor baby is also addicted to drugs now because he was breastfed.
This remains me of a short story I've studied in Chinese Literature.
Anyway, I really sympathize with the poor baby! He's such an adorable baby! So easily amused! He has really beautiful eyes! I do not understand how his mum can bear to hit him.
I asked for permission to carry the child. He's so insecure that he held on to me so tightly. Poor thing. At least he felt loved when everyone started to play with him. (:

I LOVE RINNAH!
Bintan Mission Trip has been AWESOME! Like what Pastors said, we really sowed a seed in Bintan! The two-night concerts were fantastic! They refused to let Phenomena stop; kept calling for encore. The whole atmosphere was really really high and lively.
The visit to the orphanage really impacted me. They held on to us so tightly; it's so obvious to tell that they feel insecure and unloved.
I'm too tired now to give more details about BMT. One word to describe it - AWESOME! (:

Tendered my resignation letter on Tuesday. Initially, Miss Sylvia told me to take it back and asked me to think about it. After considering for a long time and talking to Jiaxin about it, I made up my mind to resign.

A pretty interesting day I had today.
After like 4683603732 years, I finally watched 'Passion of the Christ'! Yay! It was really fantastic. Really touching too. I could literally feel the pain Christ Jesus went through. My heart ached as I watched the scenes of Him being tortured and tears just flowed out uncontrollably. He went through so much for us to cleanse us from all unrighteousness and sins. The movie affirmed my stand and that is:
I WILL NEVER BACKSLIDE! NEVER EVER!

Also, I'm really thankful to have such wonderful spiritual parents like Pastor How and Pastor Lia. They have been guiding me and providing me with advice on my university applications. In addition, hoGc presented me with an iPod Shuffle which I do not think I truly deserve. Nonetheless, it will be my motivation to study harder and achieve better results to glorify God! Amen! x)
OH! Dominic, Esmonde, Dexter, Noel, Kris, Shawn Lau, Darrell and Dale went to EC House just now and left the place - BALD! Yes, you did not read it wrongly. They are B A L D! Anyway, Dom and Esmonde will officially become the 'Sons of Singapore' this week, so it's just a matter of time when they get their mane shaved off. Haha!
All of them look really cute without hair, like those primary school little boys! The top of their head felt like carpet too - soft and furry! Hahaha! Took some pictures but I shall decide whether I want to post them up! Heh!

Keyboard lesson this morning was a little different from the usual lessons. Nonetheless, it still impacted me - a whole lot.
Thank you Fifi and Lynette, for all your guidance in keyboard and vocals. It has been a fun learning experience.
Also, I really have to thank Jiaxin. Although it has only been 2 months, it's as if I've known her for years. She'll always be there when I need advice. Everytime I'm feeling down, all I have to do is dial her number or message her and things will look so much brighter.
I really thank God for leading me to her; to be under her guidance. Her heart for people and her compassion never cease to amaze me. No matter how unlovable that person may be, she will still love the person sincerely and be his/her best friend. That's something which I need to learn to manage.
I feel that I'm being stretched now; but not to the optimum YET. I believe that my capacity will increase. No doubt the process will be draining, but I know the end result will be amazing. It will be wonderful, for I know that I will have the strength to do ALL things because He is with me. (:

Am meeting Lee Han, Kee Wei and Joyce for supper later. Hope I won't collapse by then. Haha! Oh! Just remembered that I have to help Lee Han buy a birthday cake for her friend and transfer money to Xin*. Right. I better do that now before I forget about it. My memory is getting from back to worse.
Before I go, all the best to all those who will be collecting their O levels results on Friday! It will be my turn soon! Ahh.. horrors! I had a bad dream about my results a few days back. I dreamt that I had really lousy grades like B,O,ungraded and E8. Frightening, I tell you; but some people said that dreams will be the opposite of reality.

I called MOE just now to enquire about the replacement of my lost cheque; or rather, the cheque that has been thrown away [which is equivalent to being lost since I don't know the whereabouts of my poor cheque now.].
Now I need to make a police report and bring the report, together with my identity card, to Punggol South Constituency Office. From there they will guide me on the procedures. This means it will take quite some time before my 300 buckeroos come flying back to me.
Oh well. At least I'm getting my money back! (: Yay!

I placed the cheque together with the letter and she thought that the letter was of no use. So she threw it away.
Three hundred buckeroos gone; just like that. Sobs.
Think I will try to go down to the community centre to tell them that I've lost the cheque. Hopefully they will issue another to me.

Anyway, met up with Ally just now. Was supposed to help her find a top for CNY. Instead we ended up celebrating Joyce's birthday because she met Lee Han while waiting for me.
Went to Balcony initially but it was way too crowded and we didn't want to stand. So ended up in Rouge. It was really nice catching up with them. (: They are planning to come to my place on 3 Feb for dinner.

To digress a little, my right knee has been very cranky these few days. Now it's slightly swollen. Went for acupuncture just now but it's not very useful. My knee is still painful.

The main motive in going for prom is to take pictures; so I shall not complain about the really lousy and disgusting Emcee. :D
Again, I didn't manage to eat much because I was out taking the pictures which I took and the waiter just have to clear my plates. In the end I only ate the first two dishes and the dessert! Nonetheless, I still enjoyed myself! :D :D :D
Goosey, Ally, Kang Wei and I went to Joseph's house for mahjong after that! I nearly died laughing at Goosey! She kept making the same mistake - mistaking the 'magic bird' as one of those bonus tiles. Goodness! I was screaming/shouting and laughing at the same time.
Rushed down for a job interview the next morning. I don't think I will be hired because I told the interviewer that I can only work on weekdays. My weekends CANNOT be touched! I rather give up on that job than compromise my weekends. Nonononono!
Rushed down to church for follow-up. Learnt more things about His word! Yay! My aim is to be His good ground; not just a good ground but one which will bear fruits a HUNDREDFOLD! Yes! I will and I know I can for I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me! Whoopeeyay!

Nonetheless, I had GREATGREATGREATGREATGREAT fun yesterday during the games and bonding sessions. I don't regret going to the chalet even though I ended up leaving the chalet feeling ill again. My main motive in going was to bond with the rest so that I will get to know more about the GREAT bunch of people in church; and I did! :D :D :D
Egg-smashing was fun! Heh heh heh! I gave quite a number of people protein treatment for their hair. Now they will have silky smooth hair, albeit the stench of the eggs! I'm sorry for the lack of entries nowadays! It's not that I have nothing to write about or that my day has been boring. In fact, so much had happened and there are TOO MUCH to be talked about; I don't know where to start!
VBS as thus far has been AWESOME! We learnt about the 10 Great Exchanges on the Cross! Cool! Then Pst Lia touched spiritual warfare. Only had one lesson on that though. She will continue with that on 1Dec I think; I hope so. It's pretty interesting.

Someone once praised Singaporeans for being kind-hearted and helpful towards the handicaps. Yet, I saw and witnessed the very ugly side this evening. An elderly blind man alighted from a bus at the bus-stop along Ang Mo Kio Central and seeked help from this girl from Yio Chu Kang Secondary School. He PERSONALLY seeked help from someone and to my horror, that girl actually stood up and tried to walk away! Worse still, everyone at the bus-stop was trying their best to maintain their distance from him.
In the end, after about ten minutes, the poor man was still walking about and I could not stand it anymore, so Ally and I went to ask him if he need any help. (Yes, I know I should have went up to him after that girl ignored him, but I was hesitating. I don't know why I hesistated but yeah, my fault. I admit that.) He told us that he need someone to help him cross the road to the bus-stop opposite.
So I let him hold on to my hand and led him slowly. People started staring and looking. Ahh..guilty-conscious huh? Anyway Ally and I walked him to the first junction when we saw another blind man waiting for someone to help him cross the road. So Ally helped him. (:
One good deed deserves another. Maybe I will get my A! Yay!

Went to Candy Empire with WS and XJ today. Bought a packet of jellybeans and StarBurst Squirts Gummi Soakers. Decided to give the latter to Joseph. Heh heh!
Oh! I think jellybeans are really cool stuffs. They have really weird flavours - some are nice while some can be really revolting. (Thinks about the coconut and buttered popcorn flavoured ones. Eew.)

It's been a very long time since I stepped into church; for fear that Mummy will start nagging - saying that there will be clashes and stuffs. (My parents are Buddhists.)
No doubt, when XJ was influenced by Ivan, my parents were not very happy. Though I guess they are starting to accept it now. They don't nag at her as much anymore EXCEPT when they think that she has compromised her studies. Shall not delve further into that since I'm not very sure about the whole scenario either. (:
Oh! I realised that the sore throat was actually an ulcer right at the back underneath my tongue. Boo. It hurts when I start to drink.
Aiyah, I think I'm going to fall ill soon. Mummy kept asking me to see a doctor in case the illness deteriorates and it would be tougher to get it cure.

Anyway, am missing the boy a whole lot. He called back yesterday though; for about 11minutes. That call made me feel so guilty because I'm so not putting in my best effort in my revision. The last thing he wanted me to do before he left for Rocky was to concentrate on my revision. I'm such a disappointment - to him; to me.

Joseph touched down at Rockhampton Airport at 1511 - about 2 hours later than my estimated time. Am glad that he arrived safe and sound though! Was so worried when I did not hear from him after 1400.
Anyway, I am so going to slap/punch/kick/box zhong! I was craving for Subway halfway through Economics today and decided that I would go get one and share it with Ally after the lesson.
As we were leaving the classroom, he told me that there's one outlet in Junction8; with a very very very straight face! So the very silly me believed him and even called him to ask for the exact location when I couldn't find it on the directory. (Was thinking that maybe it's a new outlet and the directory was not updated.)
In the end, it turned out that there isn't any Subway there, except Subway Niche which is a totally different thing! I want my sub; NOT kuehs! Rah! Think he was pretty amused when he realised that I actually believed him! So evil! See! I'm too trusting for my own good! Nonetheless, I shall forgive him since today is his special day - provided that he treats me to one sub! Yay! Heh heh heh!
